The Brand Corteiz is one of the largest streetwear brands from Great Britain, which has grown extremely quickly since it was founded in 2016. Corteiz has a real identity and you can easily put yourself into the vibe - authentic streetwear from the heart of London. The influence on the fashion scene is undisputed because Clint, the owner and founder of the brand uses creative designs and high-quality materials and thus achieves a new generation of streetwear fans.
Who is Clint?
A big reason for the success of the fire is definitely the founder, Clint. He has been in the fashion industry for many years and knew exactly how to market Corteiz. He also has a great feeling for trends and a real vision behind his clothes. His best -known piece is probably the Alcatraz Logo, it stands to detach itself from the standard and to master its own world.
Its marketing strags mostly consists of real life pop-ups, so-called guerrilla marketing. This briefly explained an innovative communication strategy that lives from the surprise effect. Here creative ideas are staged particularly in public in order to go viral, especially on social media, this approach is usually also characterized by controversiality and unconventional measures. On a weekend last January, hell was going on in London - Clint posted a meeting point and hundreds of young people came. The instruction was only to bring buffer jackets with you, which could then be exchanged for one of the new Bolo jackets from Corteiz. What a blatant idea and the implementation was so well planned, the complete idea went viral, on every social media platform.

Design and aesthetics
The fire is characterized by its Alcatraz logo and the tracksuit topic, which is generally widespread in the UK - a real streetwear fire. These suits come in all possible colors so that there is something for everyone! Green, baby blue and of course black are just one of the few colorways there. Every now and then Corteiz also drops caps or even underwear, the publications are usually completely sold out in a few minutes. The quality plays a major role for Clint, the owner. He himself said that he wanted to deliver timeless designs of high quality to the customer and puts the experience for supporters in the first place.
Corteiz manages to keep a balance between the urban environment, the influences of Clint and music or art, which is incredibly difficult to master for a streetwear fire. I think the brand has such a strong connection to its supporters because it creates this balancing act.
Nike X Corteiz: A goal of life was achieved
At the beginning of January, Clint posted a picture on Instagram, with a strong tracksuit and unreleased crtz gloves. A Nike Swoosh with his Alcatraz Logo was enthroned above him!
So that was a teaser for the collaboration!
Two months later, on March 10th. we got the first "Nike Air Max 95 SP Corteiz Gutta Green". Of course there was a really cool marketing campaign here again: Clint posted a story on Instagram that anyone who comes to a soccer field that day and hits the latte at the goal will be given an exclusive couple! The fire is really known for such actions and thousands of young people flocked to the field. The online release was just as successful and after a few minutes all sneakers were completely sold out.
A few days later the next blast: Another colorway is teased via social media, a black pink and a pop-up was planned in New York. The exclusive sneaker was initially only available from the shop and then got an online release that, as predicted, was a complete success. The mood in New York was mad, says Clint himself. He has loved the city for a long time and his brand is at least as well known in the United States as with us in Europe.
In May we got the third Colorway, the Corteiz Aegan Storm, with blue accents and gray/black base. Again, this is an exclusive release that you could only get in Paris. The pop-up concept has also been fully risen again in this city.
Overall, you can definitely say that Corteiz is one of the hottest streetwear fire with the hottest street. The fan base is extremely strong and supports everything Clint has to offer - the social media presence is incredible and I am always happy to see viral videos with screaming and running people who just want to clothes.
With the slogan "Rules the World", the visionary hits the nail on the head and I am really excited to see what the next few months will come to us - when it comes to designs and Nike Collab.
