Bode X Nike - how did that come about?
The fashion brand Bode was founded in 2016 by the American Emily Bode Aujla and has been setting trends for a good two years now, setting accents with new runway ideas. Her family was rather in the workers' layer, which is why she dedicated the spring/summer season 2024 to her mother. A kind of tribute, as she called it in her high -nobty interview before the show. The collection is inspired by the residential areas in which the mother has lived and worked since 1976. Pieces include embroidered items of clothing, knitting and special elements that underline the continuous focus on the combination of historical inspiration and with modern fashion.
Although Bode originally started as a men's fashion brand, the uniqueness of their designs attracted a wider audience, including women. The silhouettes combine female and male characteristics, so the fire probably shot so far up into the trends.

The Bode X Nike Astro Grabber in two Colorways

The classic Astro Grabber was merged by selected materials and the distinctive style with the nostalgic Nike silhouette of the 1970s to create a completely new sneaker.
With a runner-like silhouette and a upper from either natural/black-light cream, which is simply the complicated color code behind a beige colorway or Black/Coconut Milk, short black and white. The upper looks breathable and a clean black or white Nike Swoosh was embroidered on the side and inside.
